When it comes to drinking water, the plain taste of water can be off putting to some and this is one of the main reasons that they gravitate towards diet sodas or sugary drinks that causes inflammation. Good news, drinking water should not be boring anymore. In fact, your water can help you fight inflammation while keeping you hydrated. 

Today I am going to share with you my favorite, refreshing, inflammation fighting water that you can prep within minutes and enjoy all week. But before getting into the recipe, let’s take a look at the health benefits of this water.

Health benefits of Ginger:

If you have been following me long enough, you know that ginger and I are best friends and I use it in almost everything. Health benefits of lemons:

I don’t think I need to mention lemons are loaded with vitamin C and the importance of vitamin C in our diet, as we all know about it. One of the benefits of lemon juice that we don’t hear a lot about is its ability to improve digestion and help detoxification. Because the lemon juice’s atomic structure is similar to the digestive juices found in the stomach, it tricks the liver into producing bile, which helps keep food moving through your body and gastrointestinal tract smoothly. Lemon water also helps relieve indigestion or ease an upset stomach.

The acids found in lemon juice also encourages your body to process the nutrients in food slower. This drawn-out absorption means insulin levels remain steady and you get more nutrients out of the foods you consume. Better nutrient absorption means less bloating. Lemon water benefits the enzyme functions in your body, stimulating the liver and flushing out toxins. Because it’s a mild diuretic, you might find yourself using the bathroom more often, helping the urinary tract get rid of any unwanted elements. All of this helps detox body & skin.

Proven health benefits of Apple cider vinegar:

Studies have shown that apple cider vinegar can help regulate blood sugar levels (1, 2).

Might enhance weight loss. In one study, consuming just two tablespoons per day of apple cider vinegar over 12 weeks resulted in nearly 4 pounds of weight loss with no other modifications to diet or lifestyle (3). Other studies have also shown that apple cider can increase satiety, hence decrease in calorie intake (4, 5).

Lemon ginger cider water recipe:

What you need:

  • Lemons: 3 juice of
  • Raw apple cider vinegar: 1 cup
  • Fresh ginger: about 3 OZ minced
  • Filtered water: 3 gallon


  • Add all the ingredients in a 3 gallon water tank and place in the fridge.
  • Enjoy as your heart desires
  • This should be enough for a week.
